Poetry is at once the most challenging, self-indulgent, pretentious, absorbing and satisfying writing that i do. It can take months to get a poem right, or it might come out in twenty minutes. I like it because it’s a different use of language than prose; it’s more like painting or music, but with words. Its sense is not in the literal meaning, but in something larger: the patterns, the feel, the rhythm.

Having read this I believed it was rather enlightening.
I appreciate you finding the time and energy to
put this information together. I once again find myself personally spending
way too much time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it
was still worthwhile!
